Chuck Forton

Chuck Forton is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as Vice President of New Product Development and Operations at Acuity Surgical since August 2016. Previously, Chuck held various engineering leadership roles at OsteoMed, including Engineering Manager and Section Manager for Spine, CMF, and Neurosurgical products from April 2011 to August 2016. Prior to that, positions included Principal Development Engineer at Zimmer Spine and multiple roles at Abbott Spine, contributing as a Senior Engineer and Product Development Engineer. Chuck started the career as a Product Development Engineer at Spinal Concepts from 2002 to 2003. Chuck earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
