Cllr Leslie Ayoola serves as the Chair of the Corporate Overview & Scrutiny Committee and as the local Councillor for the Mapperley ward in Nottingham since May 2015, with a role as Area East Committee Chair since 2016. Leslie has held various positions, including Assistant Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Business Growth, and City Centre Management, and has been actively involved with numerous organizations such as Acumen Academy, Notts & Lincs Credit Union, and B-Global, which promotes Nottingham’s Black Business Network. Leslie's previous roles include managing director positions at Inspiring Greatness and Leslie Ayoola Consultancy, focusing on entrepreneurship and business development. Educationally, Leslie holds a Master's degree in Youth & Community Development from De Montfort University.
