Julia Miller, Ph.D., serves as the Manager of Curriculum & Learning Design at Acumen Academy since May 2022, where Julia designs engaging online educational resources for over one million social entrepreneurs worldwide and leads a learning design team. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Learning Design at ansrsource, focusing on learning design consulting for university and corporate clients, and as an Instructional Designer at Long Island University. Julia's earlier positions include Senior Consultant at SAI Global, VP of Professional Services at eHigherEducation, Director of Faculty Development at NYU Online, and e-Media Producer at Kaplan Educational Centers. Julia holds a Ph.D. in English from the University at Buffalo and has received training in stand-up comedy and improv at Comix Stand-up Comedy and Second City Improv Training Center.
