Henry Chao

Henry Chao is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the IT and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Senior Technology Officer at Acumen, LLC since February 2022, Chao provides strategic guidance on product development and marketing while enhancing partnerships for business growth. As an Independent Consultant since May 2015, Chao advises clients on government and industry interactions, leveraging in-depth knowledge of government programs and commercial health insurance. Previously, serving in key leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer at FEI Systems and Chief Strategy Officer at Sparksoft Corporation, Chao has played a pivotal role in strategic planning and implementation. Notably, Chao's tenure at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services included responsibilities as Deputy CIO and Deputy Director, overseeing operational improvements and project management for large-scale technology solutions. Chao holds a BA in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
