Leonardo Shu

Leonardo Shu is a Data and Policy Analyst IV at Acumen, LLC, where responsibilities include analyzing health policy data and leading consulting projects for government and private clients. Prior roles at Acumen included Data and Policy Analyst III and II, handling complex healthcare datasets and programming. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Statistician at the Biodemography of Aging Research Unit at Duke, where research focused on Alzheimer's disease genetics using advanced statistical models, and as a Researcher developing electricity demand prediction models in China. Additional experience includes a Research Scholar position at the Data+ initiative at Duke and mentorship at the University of Chicago. Leonardo holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Duke University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Statistics from the University of Chicago.
