Maria del Mar Jauregui

Maria del Mar Jauregui has a diverse and extensive work experience. Maria del Mar started their career as a Research Intern at the Center for Global Democracy and Development in 2010. There, they organized and performed descriptive summary statistics on data for economic development projects.

In 2011, Maria worked as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department, where they organized and interpreted data from the World Trade Organization to assess its support for current Economic Trade theories.

In 2012, they joined Acumen, LLC as a Data Policy Analyst. In this role, Maria developed research questions and methodologies for analysis, conducted data management and statistical analysis using SAS, and performed literature searches for context.

Maria then progressed through various roles at Acumen, LLC. Maria del Mar served as a Policy Lead from 2015 to 2017, overseeing research projects and managing a team of analysts. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Research Operations Senior Manager, leading efforts to advance the efficiency and quality of research at Acumen, LLC. Recently, they have taken on the role of Director of Research Operations, where they set and executes the strategic vision for research operations.

Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated strong analytical skills, expertise in research methodologies, and experience in managing teams and projects.

Maria del Mar Jauregui obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Latin and Economics from Stanford University between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and earned an IB Diploma from Escola Graduada de Sao Paulo (Graded School) from 2002 to 2008.
