Belen Mrtyn is a strategic consultant at SOSV, focusing on accelerating the path to net-zero emissions through FoodTech innovation. As a venture partner at GreenThumb Tech, Belen collaborates with investors to identify sustainable food solutions. Belen also serves as an angel investor for foodco.co and several other companies, promoting advancements in food delivery and plant-based revolutions. At MassChallenge, Belen mentors early-stage FoodTech startups, while providing guidance as a business mentor at Norwest Venture Partners. Previous experience includes roles as a financial services advisor and compliance specialist at Danske Bank. Belen holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Vaasa and a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Corporate Finance from the University of Helsinki.
