Daniel Waldron

Daniel Waldron has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Daniel currently serves as the Head of Insights at Acumen since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at CGAP from March 2015 to July 2019. During their time at CGAP, they held the roles of Financial Sector Specialist and Digital Finance and Energy Specialist, where they managed various research projects and authored numerous publications. From January 2018 to October 2019, they worked as a Project Manager at BFA, focusing on financial inclusion initiatives. Daniel also worked at Better Than Cash Alliance as a Research and Data Analyst from August 2016 to August 2018. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Business Analyst at WeWork, Research Assistant at The New School, Research Associate at Petrides & Co. LLC, Development Consultant at Municipal Government of Supia, Colombia, Administrative Assistant at Commercial Snow + Ice, and Volunteer Fellow at Obama for America.

Daniel Waldron has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from New York University (2003-2007). Daniel also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from The New School (2013-2015).
