Jiwoo Choi

Jiwoo Choi currently serves as the Chief of Strategic Initiatives at Acumen since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer for the EMEA Region at Shinhan Bank from June 2021 to December 2023, and Chief Risk Officer at the Dubai Green Fund from September 2018 to June 2021. Jiwoo Choi has also held the position of Deputy Director/Director a.i. at the Green Climate Fund from March 2015 to July 2018 and was the Head of Credit at HANWHA LIFE CO., LTD. from February 2013 to February 2015. Additionally, experience at Standard & Poor's spanned from 2003 to 2013, focusing on Infrastructure and Corporate Ratings, Structured Finance Ratings, and Risk Solutions, alongside a brief tenure at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance in 2002 within the Financial Intelligence Unit. Jiwoo Choi holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MBA from Tsinghua University.
