Prosper Ahimbisibwe

Prosper Ahimbisibwe, MD, is a co-founder and director of MSCAN Uganda, where the journey began with securing seed funding from the United Nations Population Fund. As a co-founder and director at Span Health and Kangaroo Plus Uganda LTD, Prosper leads diverse teams to develop healthcare solutions for neonates across Africa. Prosper also holds the title of Acumen Fellow and serves as a Global Shaper for the Kampala Hub under the World Economic Forum. Previous experience includes roles as a medical officer during the COVID-19 pandemic with the Ministry of Health in Uganda and as an intern at Jinja and Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospitals. Prosper's education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Makerere University.
