Wanji Ng'Ang'A

Wanji Ng'ang'a has a strong background in business and entrepreneurship with a focus on East Africa. Wanji is currently working as the Associate Director for Investing at Acumen. In addition, they hold various positions in organizations such as SokoFresh as a Board Member, Nairobi Business Angel Network as a Member, and the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs - ANDE as a member of the East Africa Chapter Steering Committee. Prior to their current role, Wanji served as the Regional Manager for East Africa at Shell Foundation and as a Program Manager at GOGLA. Wanji also held the position of VP Sales at BioLite and was the Head of Key Accounts for East and Southern Africa at Greenlight Planet, Inc.

Wanji Ng'ang'a completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from United States International University - Africa from 2004 to 2008. Wanji then pursued further education, completing an Impact investing program from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Wanji studied Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Currently, Wanji is pursuing a Master of Commerce in Development Finance at the University of Cape Town, starting in 2022.
