Steve Reynolds

Steve Reynolds joined the Acumen team in November 2021 as controller, treasurer and AVP finance. Reynolds has over 20 years’ experience in life science finance and has served in senior leadership roles in controllership, treasury, financial reporting, planning and analysis. Reynolds has extensive experience designing and implementing policies, procedures and systems that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. As a newly public company, Acumen will benefit from his experience.

Most recently, Reynolds worked as global controller and treasurer for Envigo RMS, a worldwide company producing research models for pharma/biotech. Prior, he worked in accounting and FP&A roles for Assembly Biosciences, a NASDAQ biotech startup. Formerly, Reynolds served as controller for Roche Health Solutions, Roche’s only division providing health care services directly to patients.

Reynolds attended Indiana University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics then went on to attend Vanderbilt University where he earned his Master of Business Administration in both finance and accounting. In his free time, Reynolds enjoys outdoor pursuits and serves on the finance committee for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, a nonprofit devoted to planting trees and making Indianapolis a more beautiful place to live.
