Stacee Mendonca is a Senior Research Associate at AcuraStem since May 2019, previously serving as a Research Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Research Associate I at City of Hope from February 2017 to April 2019, where Stacee collaborated on studies involving the microbiome's role in chemotherapy-induced neuropathy and led efforts in isolating inflammatory cells for flow cytometry and ELISPOT assays. Stacee has a strong background in data analysis and laboratory management, having overseen transgenic mouse breeding and coordinated specimen processing. Prior to City of Hope, Stacee worked as a Laboratory Assistant at UCLA Larry Hillblom Islet Research Center, gaining experience in immunohistochemistry and mammalian cell culture. Stacee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA and an Associate’s Degree in Natural Sciences from Ohlone College.
