Philippe Genevaux

Philippe Genevaux is an optical engineer currently employed at AcuSurgical since November 2022. Prior to this role, Philippe served as an optical instrumental engineer at HORIBA Medical from February 2016 to December 2022. Philippe also gained experience as a PhD student at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs France from January 2013 to January 2016, focusing on the thesis topic "Mode multiplexing for increasing data rates in optical fibers." Earlier in Philippe's career, a position as an intern at FORCE-A in 2010-2011 involved the design, assembly, and testing of an optical setup for measuring plant fluorescence. Philippe holds a degree in optics from the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, obtained in 2012.
