Kathryn Collins has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathryn started their career in 1981 at Barnabas Health as VP CIO, a role they held until 2003. Then, they joined Meridian Health as VP for Campus Planning/Nursing Innovations from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Barnabas Health for 10 months. Later, they joined AcuteCare Health System as Vice President and remained in that role since 2013. Currently, they are employed at New Jersey Hospital Association as a Clinical Quality Improvement Manager since 2017.
Kathryn Collins holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, which they obtained from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus between 1983 and 1987. Kathryn also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Health from Monmouth University from 1974 to 1983. Prior to their bachelor's degree, they attended Ann May School of Nursing from 1971 to 1974 and obtained a Registered Nurse certification in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Additionally, they have obtained the FACHE certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives in June 2000.
