Andrés Ruiz-Tagle

Andrés Ruiz-Tagle, Ph.D., is a Senior Associate Engineer at AcuTech Consulting Group, specializing in Quantitative Risk Assessment. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, Andrés conducted quantitative risk assessments focusing on hydrogen systems. Experience includes a visiting scholar role at GTI Energy, consultancy for Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado, and research on health management of complex engineering systems at Universidad de Chile. Andrés co-founded Quillagua Innovation Labs, a renewable energy startup, and holds a Ph.D. in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Chile.
