Alex Asconeguy

Alex Asconeguy has over 20 years of experience in engineering and leadership roles. Alex has served as the Senior Director of Engineering - Advanced Development at Acutus Medical, Inc. since June 2019. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering - Advanced Technology at the same company. Prior to Acutus Medical, Inc., Alex worked as the Director of Engineering at BeneChill, where they led the R&D group and managed external development activities. Alex also held positions as the Director of Research and Development at Helical Solutions, Senior Principal R&D Engineer at Medtronic AF Solutions, and Principal R&D Engineer at Medtronic AF Soltions. Alex started their career as an Imagery Analyst in the US Army and has also worked at Boston Scientific and AFx. Alex has a strong background in team building, effective communication, and problem-solving.

From 1990 to 1995, Alex Asconeguy attended Stevens Institute of Technology where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
