As long-term IT Solution Architects and Smartsheet users, we recognized the need for a comprehensive, robust backup and data mover solutions for Smartsheet.

Our SmartBackup solution automatically creates online and offline backup copies for all users in an organization and exports Smartsheet assets for DRP, BCP, regulatory, and record-keeping purposes.

While Smartsheet is an excellent business tool, it is a typical SaaS application, meaning there is a shared responsibility for data protection and security. As a collaborative platform, it is easy for data to be overwritten, altered, or deleted by mistake, potentially leading to negative business impacts.

SmartBackup for Smartsheet is the industry's leading purpose-built backup and export solution. It uses AI to create complete or incremental, full-function backups of all sheets, including data and formatting, formulas, forms, rules, comments, and attachments, for all users in the organization. These features are not available with standard Smartsheet utilities.

SmartBackup includes two main functions: LiveCopy and ShadowCopy along with several helper functions including JobCentral, DRP Reporting, and housekeeping services. Together, these functions provide a sophisticated, comprehensive, and robust backup and disaster recovery solution for an organization's Smartsheet data, while also addressing regulatory, auditing, and record-keeping requirements.

Our High Speed Offloader/Onloader solution is a sophiticated "data mover" solution for Smartsheet. It allows for moving data across regions, offloading and onloading to other platforms such as SharePoint, cloud-based storage, etc., and it addresses several additional use cases.
