Abid Malik

Abid Malik has extensive work experience in the power and water production industry. Abid started their career at AES in 2003, where they worked as an O&M/Construction Manager until 2005. Abid then joined Engro Corp in 2006 and held the position of Business Development Manager/Construction Manager until 2009. In 2009, Abid joined ACWA Power as the Country Head of Business Development in Turkey, where they played a significant role in the company's power generation and desalinated water production projects. Abid remained with ACWA Power until 2014 and then rejoined the company in 2015. During their time at ACWA Power, Abid held various positions, including Managing Director for Turkey & Kazakhstan, Vice President of Portfolio Management, and currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President and Regional Director for Portfolio Middle East Asia.

Abid Malik attended the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore from 1987 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
