Arvind Mishra

Arvind Mishra has a diverse work experience in tax and zakat roles. Arvind is currently serving as the Vice President and Global Head of Tax & Zakat at ACWA Power since January 2019. Before that, they held the position of Executive Director and Global Head of Tax & Zakat at the same company from August 2015 to December 2018. Prior to joining ACWA Power, Arvind worked at EY as an Executive Director in International Tax Services from July 2014 to July 2015. Arvind also served as a Director in the same department from February 2011 to June 2014. Arvind has previous experience as the Group Tax Director at Emirates Telecommunication Corporation- Etisalat from August 2009 to December 2010. Arvind started their career at AES, where they worked as a Senior International Tax Manager, focusing on the Middle East and Asia, from May 2007 to July 2009. Before that, Arvind worked at Ernst & Young from November 1998 to May 2007 as a Senior Manager in Corporate Tax Advisory Services.

Arvind Mishra is a Chartered Accountant with a specialization in Taxation and Accounting from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion from LinkedIn in 2021, Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation (APCIT) from IBFD in 2020, and English Common Law: Structure and Principles and Rethinking International Tax Law from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016.
