Asfand Yar

Asfand Yar is currently serving as the Assistant Manager Internal Audit - Technical at ACWA Power, having started in December 2024. Previously, Asfand held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer at Fatima Group from October 2023 to November 2024, where responsibilities included leading projects related to mechanical, planning, and civil disciplines. Prior experience includes working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Lalpir & Pakgen Power Limited from January 2022 to October 2023, gaining hands-on experience in the major overhauling of a thermal power plant, and serving as a Trainee Engineer at FABCON Design and Engineering Pvt Ltd. in 2021. Asfand's career began with an internship at Lalpir & Pakgen Power Limited in 2020. Asfand holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, completed in June 2021.
