Jose Barragan

Jose Barragan has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on Concentrated Solar Power (CSP). Jose started their career at Abengoa in 2005, where they worked as a CSP Engineer before advancing to the role of CSP - Design Manager and later becoming the Tower Technology Manager.

In 2014, Jose joined ACWA Power, where they served as the Senior Manager for CSP before being promoted to Executive Manager - CSP in 2018. In 2020, they assumed the position of Head of Renewables and in 2021, they became the Vice President - Renewable Technical Services. Jose'sexpertise lies in CSP technology and they have played a key role in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects.

Jose Barragan studied at the Engineering School of Seville University, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Energy. No specific start or end dates were provided for their education.
