Khalid Alawayedh

Khalid Alawayedh is an accomplished executive in the energy sector with extensive experience in power plant operations and management. Currently serving as Executive Director at ACWA Power since August 2016 and as EMO at Hajr Electricity Production Company since August 2020, Khalid has previously held the position of CEO at JWAP and served as EMO from September 2016 to August 2020. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Saudi Electricity Company, such as Generation Planning Department Manager, Qurayyah Combined Cycle Plant Manager, and Power Plant Manager, with a career beginning as a Commissioning Operations Lead in 1991. Khalid holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Hull, obtained from 2007 to 2010.
