Lana El Chaar

Lana El Chaar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Lana currently works as the Vice President of Talent Management and Capability Building at ACWA Power. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of the Center of Excellence at NOMAC First National Operations and Maintenance Co. Lana has also held positions at GE Power and GE Digital, where they served as a Vice President for Global Professional Services and VP of Global Services for Americas, respectively. Before joining GE, Lana worked at The Petroleum Institute, American University in Dubai, BCU, and the American University of Beirut in teaching roles.

Lana El Chaar earned their BSEE, MSEE, and PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, from 1987 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at College Louise Wegman from 1981 to 1986.
