Elise James-Decruise

Elise James-Decruise is the current Chief Equity Officer at Ad Council. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Diversity, Inclusion and People Officer at Marcus Thomas LLC from July 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives to reinvent how the company's People, Comms, FP&A, IT, Legal and Workplace Experience teams supported one another in anticipation of company needs. Elise also served as the champion of advancing and evolving the DEI vision, strategy and initiatives. Prior to that, they were the Strategic L&D Advisor at GoCoach and before that, the Vice President, Head of Multicultural Marketing and Inclusion at MediaMath from January 2012 to April 2020. Elise began their career in learning and development as the Learning and Development Manager at Macy's from August 2010 to January 2012.

They work with Tomasz Lubas - VP, Technology, Caron Lindsay - SVP, Data Architecture & Analytics, and Lorna Lightfoot-Ware - SVP, Business & Legal Affairs. Their manager is Lisa Sherman, President & CEO.
