Benson Hon

Benson Hon is a Principal Engineer with extensive experience in big data and software engineering, currently at Ad.net since August 2021. Previously, Benson served as a Principal Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at Taboola, where significant contributions included leading the development of a Big Data Pipeline for processing over 100 Terabytes of data daily and enhancing an Email Ad Serving system for fault-tolerant, multi-datacenter capabilities. Prior roles included Senior Software Engineer at Criteo, winning the "Pink Pony" award for designing the Adaptive Manipulation Pipeline, and Senior Programmer at DataPop, where Benson developed an innovative Google Shopping Structure Generation Engine. Earlier in the career, Benson worked at Cars.com as a Senior Software Engineer, designing a Search Engine Marketing Interface and internal tools. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UCLA and studies at Pasadena City College.
