Ray Hon has over 20 years of work experience, starting from 1997 as a Lab Manager at the University of Southern California. Ray then worked as a Senior Programmer at ZKey from 2001 to 2003, followed by roles as a Senior Developer/Architect at US Search.com from 2002 to 2004 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Digital Insight from 2004 to 2005. Ray then joined Avega as a Lead J2EE Developer from March 2005 to October 2005. Ray continued their career at Yahoo! Inc. as a Senior Technical Yahoo! from 2005 to 2007, and at Adconion Media Group as a Director of Engineering from 2007 to 2009. Ray then joined DataPop (acquired by Criteo) as a Senior Architect from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Ad.net, first as the SVP of Engineering and later as the CTO. During this time, they led various initiatives, including M&A activities, product vision and execution, and the development of a Semantic Engine for user intent identification.

Ray Hon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they obtained from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed another Bachelor of Science degree in BioChemistry from UCLA between 1994 and 1997.
