Kelly Bonewell

Kelly Bonewell, PhD, LPC, serves as the Director of Congregational Care at Ada Bible Church, overseeing over 1,000 annual care requests from a congregation of more than 8,500 members across four campuses since 2008. As an Online Adjunct Instructor at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, Kelly teaches courses related to trauma, counseling techniques, and family therapy. With a career in psychology dating back to 2001, Kelly has held the role of Director at Wellspring Consulting, LLC, addressing various issues such as depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties, and previously founded Wellspring Counseling, where counseling services were provided to 225 individuals annually. Kelly’s earlier experience includes managing budgets over $30 million as a Print and Paper Buyer at Boise Cascade. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Psychology from Capella University, an MA in Counseling from Cornerstone University, and a BA in English from Columbia College Chicago.
