Alvin Shi

Alvin Shi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alvin began their career as a Technical Project Engineer at Dalmec China in 2004. Alvin then worked as a Business Development Manager at Bosch, where they focused on technology licensing and commercialization in China, specifically negotiating and concluding license agreements for automotive transmission projects. In 2012, Alvin served as an MBA Associate at Redalpine Venture Partners. This experience led him to become an Entrepreneur in Residence, Venture Development at Project A Ventures, a Berlin-based operational venture capital fund, from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they joined Ada Health as the Head of Corporate Development. Alvin then joined Move-X Autonomous Driving in 2021 as the VP of Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships. Currently, Alvin Shi is the Managing Partner at MOOS Capital, a position they have held since 2019.

Alvin Shi completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 1999-2003. Alvin then pursued a Master of Business Administration (Full-time MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital at the University of St.Gallen from 2011-2012.
