Dan Ashby

Dan Ashby has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality engineering. Dan is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Ada Health, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Quality & Tech Services at Ada Health from June 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining Ada Health, Dan Ashby held various leadership positions in quality engineering and testing. Dan was the Head of Quality Engineering at Photobox Group from April 2019 to June 2020. Dan also served as the Head of Quality Engineering (Business Selling Group - London) at eBay from October 2017 to March 2019.

In addition, Dan Ashby has experience in mentoring and coaching others in the field of software testing. Dan co-founded and co-hosted the Ministry of Testing Essentials, a free monthly workshop aimed at providing a safe space for software testers to learn and mentor others. Dan held this role since March 2016.

Dan Ashby has also worked in quality and testing roles at companies such as Agile Alliance, AstraZeneca, Lab49, Medidata Solutions, THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP, and Fivium.

Dan Ashby attended the University of Strathclyde from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a BTECH degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
