Andy Miller

Andy Miller is an accomplished Information Technology Manager at the Ada County Highway District since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading strategic technology initiatives and overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of advanced IT solutions to improve operational efficiency and community service. Previously, Andy served in the Idaho State Police from August 2013 to October 2021 as an IT Systems Operations Officer and Senior IT Systems Technician, managing a complex network and supervising technicians. Earlier in their career, from March 2005 to August 2013, Andy worked as a Senior Implementation Specialist at Direct POS, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of Retail Inventory Management Systems, including business network setups for security compliance. Andy holds an Associate's degree in Computer Software Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-Boise, obtained between 2002 and 2005, and is a high school graduate.
