Alan Smith

Alan Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in property appraisal and strategic development within Ada County, Idaho, since August 2006. In various roles, including Strategic Development Analyst, Appraisal Supervisor, and Appraiser, Alan has overseen the appraisal of over 180,000 property parcels annually, totaling more than $35 billion in value. Additionally, Alan served as State Representative for the International Association of Assessment Officers, facilitating communication between local members and the national organization, and held the presidency of the Idaho Association of Assessment Personnel. Prior to the assessment field, Alan gained valuable experience in customer service and management at Albertsons. Academic credentials include dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Finance from Boise State University, earned between 2000 and 2005.
