Raquel Mena

Raquel Mena is a Software Engineer at Prime Video and Amazon Studios since February 2022, and actively volunteers as a Coordinator for Ada Build, an introductory coding program. Previously, Raquel was a student at Ada Developers Academy, where experience included producing projects utilizing Python, PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs, along with foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms. An SDE Intern at Amazon, specifically in Prime Video, was held from September 2021 to January 2022. Prior to entering the tech field, Raquel worked as a Messaging Specialist at Mood Media, delivering tailored marketing solutions, and held roles as a Retail Associate at Performance Bicycle and a Customer Service Partner at Central Market. Raquel earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
