Arfah Farooq

Arfah Farooq is an accomplished founder and community leader, recognized for establishing Europe's largest gathering of Muslim tech professionals through Muslim Tech Fest. With a background in venture capital as a scout and angel investor at Ada Ventures, Arfah actively supports overlooked founders. As a co-founder of Muslamic Makers, a networking group for Muslim individuals in tech, Arfah promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing. Experience includes serving as Community Manager at Big Society Capital, leading community initiatives at NHSX and the Government Digital Service, and a fellowship researching Muslim women in technology. Arfah's expertise in community building, diversity, and inclusion is complemented by a degree in Media and Communication from Goldsmiths, University of London.
