Matt Penneycard

Matt Penneycard is a co-founding partner at Ada Ventures, a pre-seed inclusive venture capital firm, since June 2018. Matt has held various roles, including member of the Finance Committee at the Marylebone Cricket Club and member of the Board of Advisors for Durham University, where involvement includes the Advisory Board for Durham University Venture Labs. Previous experience includes serving as a trustee at Tobacco Factory Theatres, venture advisor at Seraphim Space, and head of Downing Ventures, focusing on early-stage technology investments. Additional roles include director at Pace Equity, partner at DTI Capital, managing director at Gryphon Holdings, and consultant at DN Capital. Education was completed at Durham University with an LLB Hons in Law and prior schooling at QEH Bristol.
