Chris Budd

Chris Budd is an experienced music industry professional currently serving as Manager of ADA Canada since July 2019. Budd has also been the Editor, Contributor, and Owner of Indie Music Filter since January 2006, establishing the platform as a prominent source for new music through curated features, playlists, and a network of global contributors. Previous roles include Sales Representative at Distribution Select and President at Bearsuit Publishing, where Chris specialized in sync licensing and music publishing for a range of artists. Chris's early career included significant contributions as Director of TV/Film Licensing at Aporia Records. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Economics from McMaster University.
