Dennis Chun

Dennis Chun has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Dennis is currently working at AdaCore as the Lead Technical Account Manager, where they develop sales strategies to connect AdaCore Technologies with customer needs. Dennis also serves as a technical advisor, assisting customers with managing issues related to AdaCore technologies.

Prior to their current role, Chun worked at Wind River as a Senior Field Application Engineer for over 14 years. In this position, they provided guidance to customers on selecting appropriate solutions that aligned with Wind River's capabilities and necessary standards.

Before joining Wind River, Chun was a Software Architect and Senior Manager at Peerless Systems Corporation, where they managed the core PDL technology and led a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining print description languages. Dennis also contributed to the R&D of new imaging techniques.

Chun's previous experience includes working at I-Logix as a Senior Application Engineer and as the Chief Software Architect for Research & Development at Aetas Technology Inc. In these roles, they were involved in systems and software modeling, managing corporate software strategy, evaluating MDD tools, and developing software algorithms for printing systems.

Chun began their career at Xerox, where they worked for over 15 years as the Manager of Software Operations. During their tenure, they oversaw software operations and led the implementation of various projects.

Dennis Chun holds a Master of Science (MS) in Telecommunications Engineering, which they obtained from Southern Methodist University. Dennis completed this degree between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from California State University-Dominguez Hills from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Dennis Chung has also obtained two certifications. Dennis earned an Advanced Computer Security Certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in November 2015, and a Security+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2019.
