Dominic Nguyen

Dominic Nguyen is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, having completed the degree in June 2023. Currently serving as a Research and Design Engineering Intern at Adagio Medical Inc. since January 2023, Dominic has gained valuable experience in engineering. Prior to this role, Dominic worked as a barista at Orobae Specialty Coffee & Tea Espresso Bar from February 2022 to June 2023, where skills in teamwork, multitasking, and COVID-conscious sanitation were developed. Additionally, from 2016 to March 2022, Dominic served as a Kung Fu Instructor at Mind and Body Martial Arts, focusing on evaluating participants' abilities and ensuring safety during training sessions. Dominic's diverse experiences highlight a strong foundation in engineering principles alongside effective communication and instructional skills.
