Rui Cernadas

Rui Cernadas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and business development across various industries. Currently serving as COO at Adalberto Textile Solutions since May 2024, Rui previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at RODI Industries from September 2022 to May 2024. From January 2019 to August 2022, Rui operated as Global Operations Director at Paul Stricker, leading a team that scaled revenue significantly and successfully integrated services following a company acquisition. As CEO and co-founder of Finiam from September 2015 to December 2018, Rui contributed to the company being recognized among the top 20 Portuguese fintech firms. Additionally, co-founding Poupapp in March 2016 involved pioneering an innovative energy provider switching solution in Portugal. Rui's career began at Kaizen Institute, where impactful consulting projects were delivered. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Management and Industrial Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and further studies at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Universidade Federal Fluminense.
