Ally Pockrass

Ally Pockrass has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Staff Writer at FNewsmagazine in 2016 and then worked as a Freelance Writer in 2017. They pursued a Master's degree at New York University's Graduate School of Arts and Science from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they also interned at The Jewish Museum as a Collections Management Intern and later as a Curatorial Intern. They then worked as an Exhibition Manager/Curator at B'nai Jeshurun and as a Resident Advisor, Prints and Drawings Intern, and Office Assistant at The Art Institute of Chicago. In 2020, Ally joined The Jerusalem Foundation, Inc. as an Administrative Associate and JCC Harlem as an Illustrator. Currently, they work as a Marketing and Communications Manager at Adamah.

Ally Pockrass received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago between 2013 and 2017. During this time, they focused on interdisciplinary and multi-media art, as well as art history, theory, and criticism. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree at New York University, specializing in Art History with a focus on contemporary art. In addition to their educational background, Ally Pockrass holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid Training, although the specific institution and dates of obtaining this certification are unknown.
