Sarah VanderWalde

Sarah VanderWalde has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Sarah most recently worked at Hazon as the Director of Marketing and Communications starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held positions at Jewish Community Partners, where they were the Director of Programs and Communications from July 2020 to August 2022, and the Endowment Development Manager from 2018 to June 2020.

Before their time at Jewish Community Partners, Sarah worked at IBM, starting as a Senior Consultant in Organizational Change Management from October 2011 to February 2015, and later becoming a Managing Consultant in Performance Marketing from February 2015 to 2018. Sarah also had previous roles at IBM Global Services as a Senior Consultant in Organizational Change Management from June 2008 to October 2011, and as a Consultant in Organizational Change Management from September 2005 to June 2008.

Sarah's early career included roles at The Altus Group as a Marketing and Communications Project Manager from 2004 to 2005, the Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center as a Researcher for Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs in 2003, and The Daily Pennsylvanian as a Marketing and Production staff member in 2002.

Throughout their work experience, Sarah showcased skills in marketing, communications, program management, and organizational change management.

Sarah VanderWalde has a Master's Degree in Technology and Communication from the UNC School of Media and Journalism. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from The Wharton School, with concentrations in Management (Organizational Behavior) and Marketing.
