Paulus Carpelan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare technology and telecommunications. As the CEO and co-founder of Adamant Health Oy since August 2020, Paulus leads the development of a pioneering motion and EMG measurement service for individuals with movement disorders. Prior roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Aroma Bit, Inc., where Paulus established the Finnish subsidiary and managed sales and marketing strategies in Europe and the Middle East, and several leadership positions at Quattro Folia Oy, focusing on business development, marketing, and product management within healthcare innovation. Paulus also held various key roles at Nokia from 1994 to 2013, driving product management and strategic planning across multiple smartphone technologies. Paulus holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.

Adamant Health is a Finnish health-tech startup on a mission to revolutionize the care of Parkinson’s disease by enabling data-driven disease management, supporting earlier diagnosis and improving patient outcomes. Our unique CE-marked data-analysis technology, based on surface electromyography (EMG) and motion measurement, provides detailed and accurate symptom data, essential for supporting personalized treatment that can be continuously optimized. Our technology is based on over 15 years of research with more than 25 scientific articles published in international publications. In addition to Parkinson's disease, our technology brings also visibility to the symptoms of various other movement disorders.
