Research and Development activities represent the main focus here at ADAMANTIC, where we host a permanently focused team of field experts to constantly improve and evolve the architecture of our data management platform.
The main goal of the ADAMANTIC project is to bring the highest possible degree of security and trust to the fields of data handling, governance and transfer.
Another crucial aspect on which our research is focused is architectural efficiency and scalability, allowing a fast and high-throughput transfer and easy and efficient distributed storage of the data, as well as a low footprint in term of hardware and network resources.

Our multi-purpose platform, powered by the ADM architecture - based on blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies - serves as the backbone of Industry 4.0 solutions: in particular, it allows sensors, actuators, and controllers to communicate with each other at high throughput and low latency, to certify and verify each other’s messages, and to manage asset ownership and configuration without the need of an intermediary or other superior certification body.
