Nick Wood has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2015, they worked as a Researcher for Ofgem, focusing on non-traditional business models. The same year, they also worked as a Researcher for EnergyPro, specializing in local energy. In 2016, they joined the Solar Trade Association as a Membership and Communications Administrator and later became a Policy Analyst. In 2018, they took on the role of Chair for the Residential Storage Working Group at the Solar Trade Association. In 2019, they co-founded and served as the CCO of Hypervolt until November 2021. Nick also founded Clean Tech Grants in 2019. In 2020, they became the Chair of the Residential Energy Storage Subgroup at REA. In 2022, they worked as the Chief of Staff for NatureMetrics and then moved on to Adamo Foods, where they currently serve as the COO. Additionally, Nick has held multiple roles at Powervault, including Commercial Analyst, Commercial Manager, and Board Advisor.
Nick Wood completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham between 2010 and 2013. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London between 2014 and 2015.
