Felipe Sylva

Felipe Sylva is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in controls and process engineering. Currently serving as the Controls Engineering Manager at Adams since June 2019, Felipe Sylva previously held positions as Senior Controls Engineer and Process Control Engineer at Georgia-Pacific LLC from July 2014 to June 2019. Felipe Sylva began the career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi from June 2012 to June 2014, and completed a Process Control Internship at Georgia-Pacific LLC from May 2013 to March 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2011. Felipe Sylva holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with an Emphasis in Computational Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, both from the University of Southern Mississippi.
