Roy Akins

Roy Akins is a seasoned real estate professional currently serving as Broker Associate and Manager of the Commercial Division at Adams, Cameron & Co. Realtors since 2001, focusing on commercial real estate in the Volusia, Flagler, and east central Florida markets. Prior to this, Roy held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at Barnett/First Florida Bank from 1991 to 1997, where responsibilities included leading the Tampa Region Commercial Real Estate Department and establishing the Special Assets Department. Roy's extensive career in banking also includes a role as Senior Vice President at First Florida Bank from 1975 to 1991, primarily managing real estate lending operations in Volusia and Lee Counties. Roy earned a BBA in Marketing and Management from Stetson University between 1967 and 1971.
