Hunter Marshall has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Hunter started as a Summer Intern at Adams Construction Company in 2015, where they gained hands-on experience in asphalt paving and operating heavy machinery. In 2016, they worked as an Independent Contractor at Mebane Manor LLC. In 2017, they joined New Millennium Building Systems as a Steel Detailer for a few months before returning to Adams Construction Company. At Adams, they worked as an Estimator in the Commercial Division, then moved up to Assistant Commercial Division Manager. Hunter later became a State Estimator and is currently serving as the Chief Estimator.

Hunter Marshall attended Radford High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their Advanced Studies Diploma. After high school, they went on to Virginia Military Institute from 2014 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business, with a minor in Spanish.

In addition to their formal education, Hunter Marshall has obtained several certifications. These include Erosion and Sediment Control - Level I from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Asphalt Field Level I Technician and Asphalt Field Level II Technician from the Virginia Department of Transportation, CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross, Hazardous Materials and Nuclear Density Gauge Certification from Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc., OSHA 10 from the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, and Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
