Henry Upshaw began their work experience in 1994 as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, where they served until 2003. In 2011, they joined Adams County as the Detention Center Administrator and Director of Detention Alternatives, responsible for overseeing the safe and secure operation of the detention center and supervising juveniles on house arrest or performing community service.
Henry Upshaw attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained an AS degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1988, they attended World Evangelism Bible College and Seminary, earning an Associate's degree in Evangelism.
