Anne Blackburn

Anne Blackburn is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various roles within K-12 education. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at Adams County School District 14 since July 2019, Anne has previously held similar positions at Prospect Ridge Academy and Jeffco Public Schools, where responsibilities included instructional leadership, staff development, and disciplinary program implementation. Anne’s background includes teaching secondary English and mentoring educators, alongside significant training in data-driven instruction and restorative justice practices. Additionally, Anne has experience as a news reporter, contributing to publications such as The Kansas City Star and Associated Press. Anne holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
