Lauren Scarpelli is an experienced baker and cake decorator with a diverse background in the culinary arts and child care. Currently serving as a Baker at The Half Moon Bakery & Bistro since July 2019, Lauren also decorates cakes at Adams Fairacre Farms and works as a Baker at Cake Placid. Responsibilities include baking, decorating, conducting wedding consultations, and setting up for upscale events. Additionally, Lauren has been a Child Care Provider at the Lake Placid After School Program since September 2009, focusing on the emotional and social development of children. Previous experience includes organizing activities for the Town of North Elba's Youth Commission and serving as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc./Outlet. Lauren holds an Associate's Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Paul Smith's College and an Associate's Degree in Sports and Events Management from North Country Community College.
